User Data Deletion

At DataHooks (operated by Pachamama Harmony, S.A.P.I. de C.V., RFC: PHA250218LB4), we respect your right to control your personal data. If you wish to have your data deleted from our systems, you can submit a request using the methods described below.

What Data We Store

When you connect your Meta (Facebook) Ads or Instagram account to DataHooks, we access your advertising and content data in read-only mode for analytics and reporting purposes. This may include:

• Your Meta user ID and basic profile information (name, email) used for authentication.
• Ad account performance metrics (impressions, clicks, spend, conversions, CPC, CPM, CTR, ROAS).
• Ad creative metadata and campaign structure data.
• Instagram media metadata, engagement metrics, and follower insights (if you connected an Instagram account).
• AI-generated insights, scores, and recommendations derived from your connected data.
• Any contact information you provided through our website forms (name, email, website URL).

How to Request Data Deletion

You can request deletion of your data by sending an email to:

Please include the following information in your request:

• The email address associated with your DataHooks account or form submission.
• Your Meta (Facebook) user ID or the email associated with your Meta account (if you connected Meta Ads).
• A brief description of the data you want deleted (e.g., “all my data,” “only Meta Ads data,” “only Instagram data,” “my contact form submission”).

What Happens After You Request Deletion

1. We will acknowledge your request within 48 hours via email.
2. We will verify your identity to ensure the request is legitimate and comes from the data owner.
3. We will delete all your personal data from our active systems within 30 days of verification. Meta and Instagram Platform Data is deleted within 14 days. This includes advertising data retrieved through the Meta Ads API, Instagram Graph API, contact information, account data, and AI-generated insights and analytics derived from your data. Data is also purged from encrypted backups within 90 days.
4. We will send you a confirmation email once the deletion is complete.

Revoking Meta (Facebook) Access

In addition to requesting data deletion from us, you can immediately revoke DataHooks' access to your Meta account by following these steps:

1. Go to your Facebook Business Integrations settings.
2. Find “DataHooks” in the list of active apps.
3. Click “Remove” to revoke our access to your Meta account data.

Once you revoke access, we will no longer be able to retrieve any new data from your Meta account. To also delete the data already stored, please follow the email request process above.

Revoking Instagram Access

If you connected an Instagram Business or Creator account through DataHooks, you can revoke access separately:

1. Open the Instagram app and go to Settings → Security → Apps and Websites.
2. Under Active, find “DataHooks”.
3. Tap Remove to revoke access to your Instagram account data.

Revoking Instagram access also stops any further data retrieval from your connected Instagram account. To delete data already stored, follow the email request process above.

Security Incidents Involving Meta Platform Data

If we become aware of a security incident involving Meta or Instagram Platform Data, we will promptly notify affected users and Meta in accordance with applicable law and Meta's Platform Terms. You may also report concerns directly to Meta via their Data Abuse Reporting Form.

Exceptions & Retention

In some cases, we may need to retain certain data for a limited period to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, or enforce our agreements. If this applies to your request, we will inform you of the specific data retained and the reason.
